This Privacy Policy describes how Appraisal Dream LLC ("Appraisal Dream," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Appraisal Dream platform, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
When you create an account, we collect:
- Name and email address (provided via Google Sign-In)
- Google account profile information (name, profile photo)
- Account preferences and settings
1.2 Content You Provide
When you use the Service, you may upload or provide:
- Photographs from site visits (which may contain embedded metadata such as location data, timestamps, and camera information)
- Documents, spreadsheets, and other files related to your appraisal work
- Asset descriptions, comparable sales data, and valuation inputs
- Appraisal reports and work product you create using the Service
1.3 Google Drive Data
If you choose to connect your Google Drive account, we access:
- Files and folders you explicitly authorize for import
- File metadata (names, types, sizes, modification dates)
We do not access your entire Google Drive. Access is limited to the specific folders and files you select. You can revoke this access at any time through your Google Account permissions.
1.4 Usage Information
We automatically collect:
- Log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps)
- Feature usage patterns (to improve the Service)
- Error reports and performance metrics
1.5 Payment Information
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card numbers or bank account details on our servers. We receive from Stripe only the information necessary to manage your subscription (such as subscription status and billing history).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide the Service: Process your photographs, generate asset lists, organize comparable sales data, and produce appraisal reports.
- Process with third-party models: Send your content to third-party services (including Google Gemini) for processing. See Section 4 for details.
- Manage your account: Authenticate you, maintain your subscription, and communicate with you about the Service.
- Improve the Service: Analyze usage patterns to fix bugs, improve features, and develop new functionality.
- Provide support: Respond to your inquiries and troubleshoot issues.
- Ensure security: Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
3. Google API Services User Data Policy
Our use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:
- We only use Google user data to provide and improve the Service's user-facing features.
- We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide the Service, as required by law, or with your explicit consent.
- We do not use Google user data for advertising purposes.
- We do not allow humans to read Google user data unless: (a) we have your affirmative consent, (b) it is necessary for security purposes, (c) it is necessary to comply with applicable law, or (d) our use is limited to internal operations and the data has been aggregated and anonymized.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the Service:

5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on Google Cloud Platform infrastructure in the United States. We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- Encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest
- Authentication via Google Sign-In (OAuth 2.0)
- Role-based access controls
- Regular security reviews
While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as resolving disputes or enforcing our Terms).
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information.
- Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.
- Opt-out: Opt out of certain data processing activities.

The Service is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly.
10. International Users
The Service is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.
